Space 

Operating with uninterrupted reliability in the harsh conditions of space, Wescam visual information systems are providing stunning real-time images from International Space Station Alpha. Camera and transmission systems built into the astronauts’ helmets provide critical visual information that permits NASA engineers to provide ground support to the astronauts during extra-vehicular activities by monitoring their progress in real time. For the first time, the world is able to view the space station as astronauts work on its construction. These breathtaking images are captured by cameras no bigger than a tube of lipstick, and perform under the harsh environmental conditions in space.

Sports 

Wescam innovation has brought the world unique point-of-view coverage of major sporting events including summer and winter Olympic Games, professional autoracing, cycling, gymnastics, swimming, football, golf and downhill skiing. Using stabilized cameras mounted to tracks, cables, aircraft and ground vehicles, as well as our proprietary on-board cameras at NASCAR® and America’s Cup yachting events, our systems provide stunning imagery from unique points of view. Other specialized sports applications include the NetCams used in television coverage of professional hockey, and helmet cameras used in baseball and football.
