- Course Overview
- This course provides students with the knowledge
and skills necessary to perform day to day tasks associated with
normal operations and maintenance of the Visual Test System. It
also provides prerequisite knowledge and skills in preparation
for advanced operations and training, including the Software Development
Kit (SDK).

- Course Objectives
- Upon successful completion of this course, students
will be able to:
- Describe the operational capabilities and characteristics
of the Visual Test System, including hardware and software.
- Describe telemetry basics as applied to decommutation
in the Visual Test System.
- Identify, navigate, and configure the different
components of the Graphical User Interface (GUI) for all system
controls associated with the Heartbeat Page, including Data
Displays.
- Create, configure, modify, and store a new
database using a simulated telemetry stream.
- Import and export data files.
- Archive telemetry data, and display data from
the created files.
- Utilize standard VTS algorithms to process
parameters from a data stream.
- Install the Visual Test System software, and
configure the hardware modules.
- Troubleshoot the Visual Test System, including
any hardware/software conflicts
