CTS-905i — FM Telemetry Transmitter

The CTS-905i miniature fixed tuned S-Band
FM telemetry transmitter features small size, light weight,
and excellent
thermal design for today's critical airborne and spaceborne
applications. This reliable transmitter provides MIL-Spec
quality and environmental capability, as well as compliance
with IRIG 106-99 and MIL-STD-461 EMI requirements. Power
supply and modulation port returns are isolated from the
case for applications where it is desirable to isolate
the ground currents from the mounting structure to which
the transmitter is attached. The CTS-905i delivers a minimum
output power of 5 watts with demonstrated data capability
to of 14 Mb/s. Weight is only 7 ounces. Low junction temperatures
are obtained through an efficient thermal configuration
allowing reliable operation at baseplate temperatures up
to 85°C. Turn-on lockup time as fast as 50 mS is available.
The transmitter features a pre-emphasis option for transmission
of video signals, and may be specified with an automatic
level control (ALC) capability.
