Farnborough, England, July 19, 2004 – L-3 Communications
(NYSE: LLL) announced today that its Space & Navigation division
(L-3 S&N) has been awarded a $14 million contract by the Boeing
Company of Huntington Beach, California, for the Delta Avionics
program. Under this contract, which will run through April of 2008,
L-3 S&N will assume design responsibility, then produce,

suppression. The avionics will be used in every stage of the
Delta launch vehicle.
