Portable User Data Terminal

L3 communications' Appliqué+ V4 Computer, a versatile, upgradeable solution for situational awareness, command and control, and weapons targeting applications, meets the military's digital battlefield requirements. Designed under the Army's Force XXI-Battle Command, Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Program using lessons learned for the Task Force XXI Advanced Warfighting Experiments, the Appliqué+ V4 Computer is a ruggedized, state-of-the-art computer designed to be hosted in a wide range of wheeled, tracked, or airborne platforms and other demanding tactical applications.

The Appliqué+ V4 Computer has Intel Pentium III performance. The remote color display and keyboard facilitate installation in vehicles and modular designs. Expansion features include USB, Ethernet, CompactPCI and PMC. AGP bus video and multi-GB removable hard drive round out an impressive array of features that deliver the performance needed on the digital battlefield.

12.1"-diagonal color LCD with touch screen, able to be located up to 5 meters (16.4ft) from processor unit. Three additional 5 meter cables can be added with USB hub space adapter. The video interface from processor to display is all digital high speed LVDS. 800 by 600 pixels resolution. Sunlight readable at maximum luminance (brightness) with at least 740 nits with a contrast ratio of not less than 50:1
