Randtron
Antenna Systems has long been active in millimeter antenna
development. Typical of this interest is the development of
½" and ¾"(shown) Archimedean spirals with integral radomes
that provide spiral radiation performance similar to that
achieved in the microwave band. We have also designed and
tested an 18 to 100 GHz spiral antenna with an integral beam
lead diode GaAs detector connected to the feed points via
a short balanced transmission line. Since the detector is
proximate to the spiral feed points, the problems associated
with the feed point geometry and balun miniaturization are
minimized. Our work in the millimeter area also includes waveguide
horn antennas. We recently developed a series of horn antennas
which employ a polarization grid in the aperture to obtain
slant polarization. With this configuration, the horn antennas
serve as DF elements that can sense H and V linear polarization
as well as circular polarization.
Large
or small, we have the experience to build an antenna to meet
your needs.
