We
use our in-house facility to perform many of the more critical
environmental tests in accordance with MIL-STD-810 requirements.
This facility features a 10,000 force-pound, computer controlled
LING Model 540A shaker which is capable of simulating the most
severe military standard sinusoidal and random vibration profiles.
This shaker can also replicate military standard shock spectra.
The laboratory is equipped with two temperature/altitude chambers
capable of reproducing temperatures ranging from -100 degrees
C to +200 degrees C and altitudes from sea level to 200,000
feet. A temperature/humidity chamber is available which can
produce 0 to 95% relative humidity environments at temperatures
to +125 degrees C. A salt fog chamber is available to replicate
military standard test exposures. A unique tensile/shear/torque/compressive
test machine can subject material coupons to structural loads
to 20,000 pounds at temperatures between -100 degrees C to +315
degrees C.
There is a 70 cubic foot Agree ESS chamber with computerized
monitoring capability. Its temperature limits are -75 degrees
C and +80 degrees C. The shaker portion of this chamber can
generate up to 5 Gs in the 20 through 60 Hz frequency range.
A 14 cubic foot, fully automated, thermal chamber that performs
to thermal limits of -80 v C to +180 degrees C is equipped with
automated RF data acquisition capabilities linked to an HP 8720B
Analyzer.
