Job title: Sr. Quality Engineer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for developing, applying, revision, and maintaining quality standards for in-process, final test, and receiving inspection. Ensures that product is manufactured, inspected, and tested per company quality standards. Formulates and leads teams in addressing quality and manufacturing issues. Reports to upper management quality trends, process improvements and/or corrective actions. Analyze quality data using M/S Access, Excel or Word to report status and to formulate improvements.

Reviews work orders and completes instructions specifying inspections to be performed. Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections, obtains disposition and implements corrective action as needed. Performs drawing control and review activities for new and revised documents, ensuring customer notification of all changes. Reviews test data packages prior to shipment to ensure product performance is within specified standards. Provides technical support to inspection personnel as needed. Interfaces with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information, and may perform vendor surveys and audits.

Performs analysis of manufacturing performance and prepares reports for management on quality trends and actions to improve. Serves on Material Review Boards and Configuration Control Boards. Monitor and address supplier issues related to quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Normally requires a college degree or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of related experience. Requires BS or MS in engineering related field and experience in developing inspection procedures, identifying key process control points, and defining inspection criteria for complex electro-mechanical assemblies. Also requires experience implementing QA procedures in the design phase. Working knowledge of software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Access.

Job title: Dip Braze, Journey I

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs highly complex visual and mechanical inspection and chemical cleaning of parts in preparation for assembly. Performs layout of highly complex mechanical assemblies utilizing blueprints, sketches or operation sheets. Must be able to assemble complex assemblies using clips, springs, rivets, tackwelds or any other device designed to hold blueprint tolerances. Must be able to determine amount of filler material used to meet strength and radius requirements of blueprint. Ensure that parts are located on brazing fixture properly to maintain minimum distortion. Must be able to determine preheat and braze time according to size and mass of brazing fixture. Must have knowledge of heat-treating of aluminum parts. Must have knowledge of maintaining salt bath and clean line per manufacturers recommendation. Must be able to check and straighten assemblies to blueprint tolerances. Must be able to pressure test, blend, and chem-film to blueprint tolerances. Must be able to work with and train lower level employees. Perform limited, intermittent physical exertion. Work environment may contain noise, dust, heat and chemicals. Hand brazing and repairing is essential. Must maintain compliance with applicable environmental health & safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a high school diploma and/or a minimum of eleven to thirteen years of aluminum dip braze experience and 2 years of certified welding. Also requires knowledge of mechanical inspection, shop math, the ability to read operation sheets and highly complex blueprints. Able to use all types of measuring instruments.


Job title: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, STRATEGIC PROGRAMS

Department:BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Identifies, qualifies and captures new business in support of major EW system and platform programs. Expands business with existing customers and develops relationships and revenue with new customers. Establishes program win strategies, leads major business capture teams, supports proposal preparation and leads business negotiations. Supports VP in functional activities such as trade shows, presentations, booking reviews, forecasting and planning. 

Responsibilities may also include:

  • Program Management
  • Performing market research to identify business and quantify opportunities for products and technologies
  • Responding to customer inquiries
  • Developing marketing and sales literature for new product releases and business development
  • Preparing presentation materials

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires BS in Engineering discipline, MS preferred, and a minimum of five years in a technology driven, defense/aerospace, business development, or marketing environment experience. Program management or systems design experience highly preferred. Experience with DoD business development and proposal generation. Experience with EW, CNI, AEW systems and programs. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required. Very high energy level with a positive disposition, self-starter, and customer focused.

Job title: LO/RCS ENGINEER

Department:ENGINEERING

Major Responsibilities: Must have working aptitude in use of antenna designs for low observable platforms; analyses, design and qualification. Should have demonstrated skills in RCS analyses using tools such as X-Patch, CARLOS and other codes. Requires technical oversight of radar cross-section measurements in support of development activities.

Qualifications: Requires advanced engineering degree with 9 or more years related experience. Current experience in Radar Cross Section (RCS) and Low Observable (LO) technologies is mandatory. Must be very skilled in the field of RCS reduction of antenna apertures as well as knowledgeable in the integration of apertures on platforms. Strong communications, collaborative work ethic with functional, program and customer organizations is essential. Strong knowledge of programming, materials for Electromagnetic Applications, and RCS Reduction techniques is required.

Job title: ANTENNA/MICROWAVE DESIGN ENGINEER

Department: ENGINEERING

Essential Functions:1. Development responsibilities include the design of VHF, UHF, and microwave antennas as well as passive, linear components including baluns, power dividers, diplexers, impedance matching networks, hybrids, and filters.
2. Provide critical design direction on projects/programs consistent with achieving specific cost and schedule objectives.
3. Effectively transfer antenna designs to manufacturing and ensure products meet specifications and quality requirements.
4. Ensure designs are suitable for volume manufacture.
5. Microwave design engineers are expected to support or lead the generation of specification and test documents, create original electrical designs, work jointly with Mechanical Engineering, CAD Designers, Machine Shop and Manufacturing to ensure efficient manufacturing of hardware.
6. Conduct and supervise prototype development and testing using state-of-the-art testing facilities.
7. Assist in the preparation of proposals including design concepts, costing, writing sections and making presentations to management and customers.

Qualifications: Requires a BS degree (MSEE preferred) and/or a minimum of none to eleven years of related experience. Candidates should possess a working knowledge of antennas, phased arrays, beamformers, transmission line theory, and passive RF circuit design. A familiarity with the characteristics and design of various antenna types such as uniform or tapered slot, cavity backed aperture, broadband, wire, and microstrip is required. Experience with one or more design and analysis software tools such as HFSS, Ansoft Designer, Microwave Office, WIPL-D, MatLab, and NEC is also considered essential. Candidates must have hands-on experience performing S-parameter measurements, antenna pattern measurements using either far or near field techniques, and antenna gain measurements. Knowledge of practical RF system considerations such as path loss calculation, cascade noise figure, and intercept point is desirable.
