Job title: NETWORK ENGINEER

Department: IT

Major Responsibilities: Operating the company's data communications systems with a full understanding of current industry practices and corporate policies and procedures. Plans, designs, and implements local and wide-area networks solutions between multiple platforms and protocols. Supports/troubleshoots network issues and provides training and supervision to other IT personnel. Capable of ensuring optimal network performance and performing other IT tasks as necessary.


Education/Experience/Training:
At least 10+ years of experience using professional concepts in developing and resolving critical issues in a timely and efficient manner. Must have proven experience with Windows 2003 (Active Directory), Exchange 2003, Data Communications, Router Configuration and Programming, SQL Server, Virtualization, NAS/SAN, SharePoint 2007, VPN Services and Symantec Anti Virus solutions.

Additional Requirements:
Supervisory experience and working knowledge of Virtualization and Linux/UNIX/Solaris/Informix a plus. Experience in Engineering design software (CAD & Simulation software) and SharePoint development also a plus.

Job title: LO ANTENNA DESIGN ENGINEER

Department: ENGINEERING (MARYLAND)

Major Responsibilities: Must have working aptitude in use of antenna designs for low observable platforms; analyses, design and qualification. Should have demonstrated skills in RCS analyses using tools such as X-Patch, CARLOS and other codes. Requires technical oversight of radar cross-section measurements in support of development activities.

Qualifications: Requires advanced engineering degree with 9 or more years related experience. Current experience in Radar Cross Section (RCS) and Low Observable (LO) technologies is mandatory. Must be very skilled in the field of RCS reduction of antenna apertures as well as knowledgeable in the integration of apertures on platforms. Strong communications, collaborative work ethic with functional, program and customer organizations is essential. Strong knowledge of programming, materials for Electromagnetic Applications, and RCS Reduction techniques is required.

Job title: QUALITY ENGINEER

Department: QUALITY ASSURANCE

Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for in-process, final test, and receiving inspection. Ensures that product is manufactured, inspected, and tested per company quality standards. Analysis and evaluation of quality trends in order to implement permanent corrective actions. Able to serve on Material Review Boards and Configuration Control Boards. Primary support of maintaining AS9100 quality system requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

1.Defines quality standards, prepares inspection procedures, and determines appropriate inspection points.
2.Reviews work orders and completes instructions specifying inspections to be performed.
3.Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections, obtains disposition and implements corrective action as needed.
4.Performs drawing control and review activities for new and revised documents, ensuring customer notification of all changes.
5.Reviews test data packages prior to shipment to ensure product performance is within specified standards.
6.May provide technical support to inspection as needed.
7.May interface with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information and may perform vendor surveys and audits.
8.Performs analysis of manufacturing performance and prepares reports for management on quality trends and actions to improve.
9.Serves on Material Review Boards and Configuration Control Boards.
10.Develop program quality plans on new projects, through review of customer contracts and quality requirements.
11.Schedule, coordinate and follow-up for Internal Audit process.
12.Assess, develop and improve ongoing AS9100 requirements, coordinate annual external audit.
13.Act as key internal resource for ISO/AS9100 system with all other departments, L-3 Corporate, department Quality Engineers and customer quality system requirements.


Education/Experience/Training:
Requires a college degree and/or a minimum of two to four years of related experience. Requires experience in developing inspection procedures, identifying key process control points, and defining inspection criteria for complex electro-mechanical assemblies. Requires understanding and experience with ISO/AS9100 Quality System requirements, and auditing. Also requires experience implementing QA procedures in the design phase. Working knowledge of software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Access.

Additional Requirements:
Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends and travel on occasion. Able to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, and squat. Able to occasionally push, and reach. Ability to type for extended periods of time. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Must have good repetitive manual dexterity with both hands. Must have sufficient vision to see relative positions of small parts and able to discern symmetry and proper alignment. Will be exposed to some or all of the following: fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels. May be required to move items 25 pounds for distances of up to 25 feet. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.
