Dual Polarized Sinuous Antennas

To meet the challenge posed by hostile signals that can be arbitrarily polarized, Randtron Antenna Systems has developed a common aperture element. The dual sinuous performance is better than a spiral antenna of the same size, with an increased capability of simultaneously handling radio frequency signals of any two orthogonal polarization's on two isolated output ports. Recently, we have developed a sinuous antenna variation that virtually eliminates RWR problems due to polarization mismatch. This gives us the ability to provide an antenna with designer polarization, custom built to your specification. Our sinuous models range in size from 2 - 15 inchs, and we offer standard models that have met our quality standards with years of design experience built in. We have built sinuous antennas for the following applications:

F-15I RWR
B-1B DSUP
C-130
F-18
F-4
Submarine applications

These PDF files were created to provide high resolution printouts, download times for slower modem connections should be taken into consideration.

Randtron Antenna Systems continues to take advantage of materials and processes that improve our antenna performance, therefore the data represented on these specification sheets should be considered typical.
