Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) - management of maintenance and supply chain.
Through its CLS contracts, L-3 Vertex Aerospace (L-3 Vertex) supports fleets of U.S. Government aircraft in the U.S. and worldwide. CLS contract specifications vary, yet typically include aircraft maintenance and repair, including all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as comprehensive supply management services for replacement parts. L-3 Vertex operates as a guest tenant contractor on military and other government installations to perform this work. L-3 Vertex CLS contracts include U.S. Navy TH-57, T-39/T-2/H-3/AIMD, T-45; U.S. Air Force T-6A and T-38C (Moody AFB), F-16 (Luke AFB), HH-60 and UH-1 (Kirtland AFB), C-141, B-52, C-130, F-15, F-16, F-111, A-10 and B-1 (Sheppard AFB); Joint Services (Air Force and Navy) C-12; U.S. Customs and Border Protection (diverse aircraft fleet); Drug Enforcement Administration (diverse aircraft fleet); NASA Ames Research Facility (diverse aircraft fleet). Vertex also serves as managing partner of a JV known as Army Fleet Support LLC, providing CLS for 500 aircraft at Ft. Rucker, AL. Aircraft supported include the AH-64, CH-47, OH-58 and TH-67. With more than 3,200 employees on this program, Ft. Rucker represents the largest aircraft maintenance contract awarded by the Dept. of Defense. ISO 9002 Certified
