L-3 Honored with 2012 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award
“We are extremely proud to be recipients of the nation’s highest honor
for supporting Guard and Reserve employees,” said
L-3 was selected from among 3,236 nominees by a board comprising senior U.S. DoD officials, business leaders and prior awardees. The award acknowledges the company’s dedication to Reservists and Guard members through a breadth of programs, from financial hardship support and charitable work for the families of deployed employees, to career development and employment counseling for transitioning active duty members, as well as seminars that focus on veterans’ issues.
