AUSA Honors L-3's Michael T. Strianese with Prestigious John W. Dixon Award
NEW YORK, Oct 27, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) today presented L-3 Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Michael T. Strianese with the John W. Dixon Award at the AUSA 2010 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Strianese received the award for the company's ongoing contributions to the U.S. armed forces and the defense industry. The award was presented at the AUSA Sustaining Member Reception and Luncheon by retired General Gordon D. Sullivan, USA, President of AUSA and former Chief of Staff of the Army and by Nicholas D. Chabraja, Chairman of the AUSA Council of Trustees. The guest speaker at the October 27 luncheon was Admiral Michael G. Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
