L-3 Promotes Steven Kantor to Corporate Senior Vice President
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 2008--L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that Steven Kantor has been promoted to corporate senior vice president and president of the L-3 Marine and Power Systems Group. With nearly $1.2 billion in revenues, the newly formed group integrates the company's ocean and undersea warfare and sonar products and its marine power and control systems businesses.
Mr. Kantor will continue to report to Michael T. Strianese, president and chief executive officer of L-3.

Mr. Kantor has over 35 years of experience in the defense industry, serving the U.S. Department of Defense, prime contractors and OEM's, and foreign allies. He joined L-3 as a corporate vice president in 2003 and was named president of L-3's Power and Control Systems Group in 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Kantor served as president of BAE SYSTEMS Reconnaissance and Surveillance Systems from 1998-2003 and held various executive positions at Lockheed Martin, Loral and United Technologies.
