PW2000 Systems provide easy to deploy, immediate and cost-effective solutions for the age‑old problem of last mile connectivity. Fixed wireless facilities of PW2000 Systems are an ideal alternative to wire-line services - especially where such services are either operating above capacity or cost of installing additional cable is prohibitive.

Prime Wave 2000™ Triple-Play Applications

Triple-Play represents a mass-market opportunity along with a high revenue potential for Telecommunication service providers Worldwide. The key to the success of Triple-Play's mass deployment is the fact that it enables a scalable network with low capital and operational expenditures.

Prime Wave 2000™ platform delivers integrated Triple-Play solutions based on the latest IP DSLAM and GEPON technologies. The integrated solutions:

·         Offer further significant reductions in service providers’ expenditures

·         Simplify overall network installations

  • Support a complete broadband infrastructure by combining seamlessly PW2000 Fixed Wireless Broadband with Wire line Broadband access facilities

The innovative IP-DSLAM platform has been designed to serve a variety of commercial and residential customer applications, including:

  • Video on Demand (VOD)

  • Internet access and e-mail

Prime Wave 2000™ - Modular Platform

PW2000 provides a highly flexible modular voice and data telecommunications system solution that incorporates the following modules to support an extensive range of services based upon the needs of the operator:

  • S-CDMA Fixed Wireless Broadband Data Access via Radio Base Units (RBU) and associated Wireless Subscribers Units – Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)

  • Wire-line Broadband Data Access via integrated IP DSLAM and xDSL equipment

  • Fixed Wireless and Wire-line Voice Access

  • Class 5 and Class 4 Local and Tandem Switching, VoIP Access via Universal Switching Platform (also known as Network Interface Unit (NIU))

  The modules shown in the list above can simultaneously perform any combinations of the following roles:

  • Fixed Wireless Broadband Data Access facilities with IP interface to data networks and S-CDMA interface to fixed wireless subscribers

  • Fixed Wire-line Broadband Data Access facilities based on IP DSLAM, xDSL, GEPON

  • Fixed Wireless Digital Loop Carrier (DLC) - Remote Digital Terminal (RDT) using V5.2 protocol

  • Fixed Wire-line DLC or RDT using V5.2 protocol

  • Voice over IP Gateway, supporting H.323, SIP, MGCP, MEGACO

Local Exchange, supporting both, fixed wireless and wire-line subscribers and accessing PSTN using:

  • SS7

  • R2

  • VoIP (H.323, SIP, MGCP, MEGACO)

  • FXO Analog interface via R2, accompanied with Auto Attendant

  • Tandem/Transit Exchange, supporting R2, SS7, H.323, SIP, MGCP, MEGACO

  • Protocol Converter between any pairs of SS7, R2, H.323, SIP, MGCP, MEGACO

  • CENTREX

Along with the basic and supplementary calling features (e.g. Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Call Transfer, Caller ID, Anonymous Calls Blocking, Outgoing Call Barring etc.), PW2000  also supports:

  • Complete Prepaid Calling Card Application

  • Access Charge.  Automatic charging of prepaid subscriber for any given amount periodically (for any given period counted in days) for the phone service

  • Blocking (after any given number of days) incoming calls to (along with outgoing calls from) subscribers, who have already exhausted their prepaid balances

  • “Black-List” and blocking any calls (from entering into the switch) from any numbers/prefixes listed in the list

  • Read Balance. By dialing a special feature access code subscribers can listen to their account balance information

  • Call Queuing. If all members of a group is busy then another incoming call will be put in a queue until any member is available

  • Customized Announcements for calling parties while in queue

PW2000 supports the following types of POTS and Broadband terminal equipment, Fixed Wireless Subscriber Units (SU) - customer premises equipment:

  • Single, supports one phone line, also available with Pay-phone support

  • Dual, supports two phone lines, also available with Pay-phone support

  • Quad, supports four phone lines, also available with Pay-phone support

  • Octal, supports eight phone lines, also available with Pay-phone support

  • 10BaseT, Broadband Subscriber Unit, supporting up to one Mbps data port and up to two phone lines

  • V.35, supports up to 256 kbps leased line and up to two phone lines  

  • X.21, supports up to 64 kbps data port and up to two phone lines
