L-3 Flight International is the world's foremost towed target operator, specializing in external two-way, recoverable target systems. L-3 Flight International provides a variety of target types (visual, radar, and infrared) with acoustical and radar scoring systems and two-way reeling systems with up to 30,000 foot tow lengths with target presentation altitudes from 20 feet to 40,000 feet. Various systems are used for special applications such as radar calibrated lenses in low speed and high speed requirements.
In addition to the towed hardbody target addressed above, L-3 Flight International has become a leader in providing tactical aircrews the ability to hone their air to air gunnery skills by towing the TDU-32A/B Banner (standard Navy 7' x 40' Banner).
