FAA Repair Station
L-3 Flight International is a certified FAA Repair Station holding
Certificate # BHKR451C, issued November 3, 1982 and located north of
the tower on the Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF),
Newport News, VA. We provide all inspections up to and including 12,000
and 12-year on all models of Lear 20, 30, and 50 series, and all
inspections except 12,000 and 12-year on Lear 60 series.
We also provide full inspection services on EADS CASA 212, Fairchild
Swearingen SA227 Metro, and most other general aviation piston/turboprop/jet
powered aircraft. In addition, we are certified for structural repairs
on Jetstream 31 and 41 series, and inspect, service, and repair Honeywell
TFE-731 and TPE-331 engines.
We are located in a 23,000 square foot facility, a 13,000 square foot
hangar with 10,000 square feet of shops and offices. Hangar doors are
110' wide by 20 1/2 ' high. The hangar is capable of year-round operations
as it is heated and protected by an overhead fire extinguishing
system. The avionics/instruments, accessories, and sheet metal
shops are integral to the facility. Our team of FAA licensed technicians
has decades of experience supporting the operation of the Repair Station.
