| ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 5 years experience in the Canadian Aerospace and Defence sector |

University education in commerce or marketing |
|
Demonstrated market research and analysis experience and expertise |

Working experience with MERX, FBO and on-line business intelligence tools would be an asset |
|
Must be fully functional with MS Office |
|
Excellent written and spoken communication skills |
|
Must have excellent organization skills |
|
Must
be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled
Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in
Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security
clearances. |

DUTIES |

Source, qualify and report business opportunities, market information, competitive intelligence and industry developments related to the company’s business areas, products/services and target markets |
 |
Conduct customized market research and analysis and prepare background briefings for internal customers in support of sales pursuits, bids and proposals, programs and strategic initiatives |
 |
Maintain and further develop up-to-date marketing databases related to programs, business opportunity company profiles and key contacts |
 |
Maintain the departmental comprehensive SharePoint Business Development Knowledge Centre |
 |
Provide support for the development and improvement of business development and marketing administration processes and best practices |
 |
Maintain up-to-date contents for the company's website such as compnay overview. marketing material, graphics, press releases etc. |
