| ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE |

Under-graduate degree in business or recognized technical discipline |
|
A minimum of 10 years technical and/or business development experience in the defense and aerospace sector; alternatively served as a member of the Canadian or an allied Navy to a minimum rank of Lt. Commander |
|
Experience with application, development or acquisition of naval Systems or associated integrated logistics |
 |
Demonstrated performance and experience in collaborative technical and business development environment |
|
Excellent information research, communications and writing skills for preparation of technical reports, business analyses and proposals |
|
Demonstrates strong leadership attributes |
|
Must
be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled
Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in
Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security
clearances. |
| DESCRIPTION OF
DUTIES |
 |
Responsible for technical and marketing support to Systems Support business, with emphasis on Naval programs |
 |
Investigate and identify candidate product technologies for future growth of the Company's Naval or related businesses |
 |
Develop technology, solution and product roadmaps |
 |
Identify and qualify potential partners to assist with the capture of new business |
 |
Assist in preparation of new business cases for Management review |
 |
Assist in preparation of collaboration and/or teaming agreements |
 |
Participate in preparation of customer proposals and recommend technological approaches to provide competitive advantage |
 |
Initiate ideas for innovative system design and development to increase market share and profitability |
 |
Lead the technical aspects of customer meetings and internal pursuit reviews |
 |
Responsible for special advanced programs/marketing assignments, as directed |
