2+ years sales experience or exposure to the Canadian sales environment
Knowledge of vehicle suspensions systems as asset
Familiarity with military vehicles a definite asset but not required
High level of computer skills
Prior marketing research and analysis experience an asset
Must
be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled
Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in
Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security
clearances.
DESCRIPTION OF
DUTIES
Lead the capture of new business to meet booking targets that are aligned with ECASS and ES' strategic direction
Prepare and brief specific opportunity capture plans and status reports for review, preparing acquisition forecasts for assigned pursuit programs for use in Company sales planning
Develop pursuit communication plans pre and post strategic RFP submission
Provide support to Field Sales Force to include:
Planning and administering trade shows, demonstrations and other marketing engagements as well as managing all logistics and follow-up on leads
Responding to phone-in sales enquiries
Managing preparation of proposals
Managing product material development and distribution, including web-site content
Support market forecasting and tracking of sales plans by:
Maintaining sales plans and booking plans
Maintaining vehicle forecast database and priority pursuit lists for global markets
Tracking progress of sales plans against booking targets
Perform market research and analysis by:
Maintaining customer organization charts
Performing competition analysis, competition tracking and competition profile documentation
Developing vehicle profiles and performing customer budget/program analysis for key pursuit vehicles
Identifying suspension trends in commercial and military marketplaces
Performing market segmentation by identifying product needs and differences by vehicle type
