U.S. SALES - MARKETING MANAGER (ECASS)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated ability to win sales opportunities
Extensive experience and knowledge of US military market, military customers and suspension products
Ideally a former military person or someone from industry with 5 years+ experience in land based vehicle manufacturing and include some of the following elements:
An existing US security classification and 2+ years of direct sales experience
  Strong ties into suspension-buying industry (Vehicle OEMs such as AM General, BAE, General Dynamics, Oshkosk, Textron and Navistar) and vehicle platform user community (TACOM, TARDEC, MARCORSYSCOM, SOCOM)
  Strong ties into other end user communities (CECOM, MICOM, National Guard and Homeland Security)
Demonstrated ability to access customer, user and acquisition communities and be a highly motivated self-started with the ability to operate remotely and with minimum supervision.
Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security clearances.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Find sales opportunities in the US military market. This will be achieved by: researching, contacting and visiting prospective customers to promote ECASS capabilities and discriminators, reviewing and analyzing defense procurement budgets, tracking industry publications, attending bidders' conferences and industry briefings, attending industry conferences and trade shows.
Plan, lead pursuit of and capture of sales opportunities
Provide a "win strategy" for proposals and lead proposal reviews for sales pursuits
Support business planning, booking and sales plan activities as required
