Training and experience in contract administration is a definite asset. |

Experience in government procurement contracts and the defence industry is a definite asset. |

Bachelor's degree in business, law or related discipline is an asset. |

Must be excellent in written communication. Experience drafting proposals and contracts is an asset. |

Must have excellent oral communication and relationship-development skills. |

Must be able to read and understand contractual terminology and documentation. |
 |
Must have the ability to analyze risk in terms and conditions is an asset. |
 |
Very strong organizational and time management skills are required. Experience in SAP is an asset. |

Must
be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled
Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in
Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security
clearances. |
| DESCRIPTION OF
DUTIES |
 |
Prepare proposals and administer contracts under the direction of a Contracts Manager. |
 |
Communicate requests for proposals internally to collect quotation and proposal information. |
 |
Input contract information into SAP. |
 |
Read, analyze, provide advice and apply the contract in daily transactions and in disputes. |
 |
Communicate and manage relationships with external customers. |
 |
Coordinate with and advise product teams and functional organizations in relation to contractual matters. |
 |
Assist in developing, maintaining and enhancing in-house contract practices and processes. |
