Bite ™ Indicator
Model MB 25
Qualified to MIL-I-83287/5
|

|
Our nonvolatile
internal drum indicator offers the designer a device
which rotates when pulsed to change display color. Mounted
on a P.C. board, the unit displays a color to indicate
a fault or other desired circuit condition. The unit
has excellent wide angle visibility under high ambient
light conditions and contains no filament to burn out
or replace.
Cleared by DOD/OFOISR for public release
under 00-S-1235 datedApril 17, 2000.

OPERATION
The unit is provided with a set and reset function.
A 20 millisecond pulse of the proper polarity applied
to the set coil will cause an internal drum magnet to
rotate and display a red or white color. A similar pulse
of proper polarity applied to the reset coil will cause
the drum to rotate and show black. The drum is magnetically
latched and will remain in the position last pulsed.
The device is nonvolatile, remaining in the set or reset
condition without input power.
For matrix configurations this indicator
may be gang mounted with minimum space between adjacent
units.
