Communications / Electrodynamics (L-3/EDI) continues to provide products and
solutions for the military and aerospace markets. Located in a company-owned
50,000 square foot facility in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, the company has
grown from a research center to a fully autonomous Engineering and
Manufacturing operation.

Engineering capabilities for Electronic System design include System
Integration, Circuit Design, Packaging, and Software. Component engineering
capabilities includes Electromagnetic and Electromechanical design, as well
as custom design and test of NVIS and Infrared Secure light filters. L-3/EDI
is fully staffed to satisfy military and commercial requirements for
Reliability, Maintainability, Integrated Logistics Support, Configuration
Management, Data Management and Environmental Testing.

L-3/EDI is focused on quality and has developed a Quality System that is ISO
9000/AS9100 certified. In addition, L-3/EDI is committed to continuous
improvement and has initiated a Lean Six Sigma program as an means of
providing value to our customers
