The NMS6000 Thruster Control System (TCS) provides individual controls for each thruster or propeller on the vessel.  Critical parameters are monitored as well.  Each TCS also provides several automatic modes of operation similar including Hold Heading and Wind Compensation making them suitable for use as an independent backup system for coordinated control.

TCS systems are generally packaged with a Class 2 or higher DP system for a complete propulsion control system.  Applications include the same as those for Class 2 systems including standard offshore support vessels (OSV’s) to dive support vessels, cable/pipelay vessels and other critical operations.
