The NMS6000 Joystick (JS) system is designed for simple three axis vessel control.  Combining all thruster controls into a coordinated joystick which allows single-hand operation.  L-3 JS systems incorporate several standard modes of operation including automatic heading control (Hold Heading) and wind compensation.  The JS systems also provides infinitely variable center of rotation.  Transit mode is also included to provide simple vessel control while underway similar to autopilots.

JS systems provide upgraded control for many different applications including yachts, offshore support vessels (OSV’s) and research vessels.  L-3 offers the most functional joystick on the market with easy upgrade paths to higher levels of redundancy and increased operating modes.
