Similar to Class 2 systems these systems offer complete redundancy as well as “voting” capability to reduce errors due to problematic sensors.  These systems can be configured with multiple operator stations for complete vessel control and network redundancy.

Typically, Class 3 systems are used on drilling assets and other critical operations where operability and safety are of the utmost concern.
