The NMS6000
Class 0 system offers a simple step-up from the JS system
adding full dynamic positioning capability. Each Class 0 system
includes standard interfaces to at least two position reference
sensors as well as the required environmental sensors. Hold
Position mode provides precise station-keeping for critical
maneuvers, while Hold Area mode provides relaxed positioning
for reduced fuel consumption and machinery wear. Class
0 systems also include all of the standard functionality
offered with the joystick systems.
Applications for Class 0 systems include many vessel types such
as yachts, offshore support vessels (OSV’s), research and
survey vessels. |
