> Center Console Unit
The Center Console Unit (CCU) is a functional display that provides
radio management, COM radio volume, squelch on/off control, flight
planning/flight management, and autopilot mode control. In addition,
the CCU displays time and outside air temperature. The CCU is an
integral part of the L-3 SmartDeck avionics suite and interfaces
with the other components of the avionics system via a firewire SmartDeck
LAN. An analog bus connects the CCU with the flight displays and
flight display controller to provide synchronized keypad illumination.
