ORLANDO, Sept. 10, 2002 - L-3 Communications Display
Systems has signed a supplier agreement with ACSS, an L-3 Communications
& Thales Company, to offer the SuperSet multi-function display (MFD)
to commercial aviation customers. The SuperSet is the first commercial
avionics product offered by L-3 Display Systems, who to date, has
focused on military platforms.
"The SuperSet family is based on a new, state-of-the-art
design using the latest AMLCD technology. The SuperSet MFD is a
cost-effective, high-performance display targeted at air transport,
regional and business jet customers, for TAWS, TCAS, CDTI and weather
radar applications," said Bob McGill, president of L-3 Display Systems.
ACSS, a supplier of safety avionics equipment to
the business, regional, air transport and military aviation markets,
has agreed to add the SuperSet displays to their portfolio of products.
"We're excited to add the SuperSet displays to our

The SuperSet MFD meets a wide range of cockpit traffic,
terrain, and radar display requirements. High resolution coupled
with outstanding optical performance, provides unsurpassed performance
under extreme sunlight, nighttime, or off-angle viewing to meet
