Communication Systems-East (CS-E) has extensive experience in delivering space qualified products to the nation's premier space programs including ongoing activities with NASA's Human Space Flight programs, the National Missile Defense program, and International satellite programs. We understand the space environment and have developed designs and processes that ensure mission success. CS-E has the system engineering skills, manufacturing skills, facilities, NASA certified people, and production test facilities to design and manufacture space qualified hardware for use on manned and unmanned space platforms. Selection and qualification requirements for parts, materials, and manufacturing processes are well known. CS-E fully understands the various radiation requirements of low, stationary, and polar orbits. CS-E facilities include State of the Art assembly equipment - NASA certified surface mount and through hole printed circuit assembly facilities, clean room assembly areas, certified operators, and all required NASA NHB 5300 certifications to manufacture space hardware are in place with all production processes and procedures proven. All personnel have the appropriate certifications and extensive experience on space qualified programs. CS-E facilities are ISO 9001 certified, and our software development expertise is SEI SW-CMM Level 3 certified.

the proven resources and experience to do low to medium volumes of complex,
highly reliable electronic assemblies. Our Material Quality Center provides
