About Division: ESSCO, an L-3 Communications company is currently seeking a talented VP of Sales & Marketing for our division in Auburn, relocating to Ayer, MA in August 2008. In this high visibility role, the individual hired will be fully accountable for all aspects of sales and marketing operations, and will report directly to the President of the Division. ESSCO is the world’s premier designer and manufacturer of ground-based radomes and antenna products. Under the Wolf Coach brand, ESSCO has a proven reputation for providing the highest quality, custom designed broadcast systems for electronic and satellite news gathering (ENG/SNG), as well as providing cutting edge communications platforms. Both a custom vehicle builder and systems integrator, ESSCO specializes in turnkey mobile solutions for commercial broadcasters as well as various federal, state and local government agencies in the Federal, Military and Public Safety markets
About Area: Our division is in Auburn/Worcester, relocating to Ayer, MA in August 2008.
Job Responsibility: - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accomplish corporate goals - Lead forecasting efforts and annual sales plan development - Develop, manage and lead pricing strategies and sales campaigns - Direct execution of all sales efforts and initiatives - Directly engage with major accounts and new business opportunities - Build collaboration with other functional groups within the ESSCO division and company-wide throughout L-3 Communications - Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales -Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives - Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop sales program - Help build and develop sales team competencies and capabilities
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering field required, MBA preferred. - Minimum of 10 years experience leading and managing technical sales and marketing activity within a corporate setting (especially within our industry) - Demonstrated success selling to the Public Safety and Military Communications Sector - Proven ability to lead and develop talent and get results through others - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) - Strong organizational and problem solving abilities.
Salary Range: 100K++
