Job Responsibility: Perform Finite Element Modeling of Composite components or assemblies for static or dynamic analysis using structural codes such as Nastran, Ansys or Algor. Review customer requirements and specifications in support of proposal efforts. Provide cost estimating and technical documentation. Produce formal documentation and presentation materials such as analysis reports, technical manuals, installation instructions and participate in design reviews. Interface with design/drafting personnel to produce documentation for the manufacture of products.
Job Requirements: U.S Citizenship Required BS Mechanical Engineer or Structural/Aerospace Engineering Five or more years of technical experience in an engineering environment using composites including resin systems and prepreg materials and tooling. Demonstrated experience in managing engineering projects from inception to completion, including interfacing directly with customers and various disciplines within the L-3 ESSCO organization Excellent verbal and written communication skills Hands on computer skills using structural codes such as Nastran, Ansys or Algor. Experience with PDM Works, Autocad, Solid Works and Microsoft Project
Salary Range: 75K-100K
