Vessels
LSEOS is used for fire control as well
as surveillance, covert tracking, and damage
assessment. Two platforms of the LSEOS product line
can be used on vessels as small as patrol boats to the
larger frigates.
Today, more than 50 ships and 4 navies
are benefiting from the technology and adaptability of
L-3 Brashear's electro-optics. L-3 Brashear
electro-optics are also used in conjunction with
radar/sonar systems. For example, the LSEOS MKIV is
part of the U.S. Navy Phalanx Block 1B CIWS Upgrade
where over 40 ships to date have been upgraded.
