Tracking Instrumentation
L-3 Brashear focuses on the design and manufacturing
of electro-optical precision pointing and tracking
systems which include EL/AZ pedestals, ruggedized trailers
providing mobility, digital control instrumentation
and range lenses. Our tracking
mounts/pedestals are
designed to accommodate video tracking equipment, IR
cameras, digital cameras, film cameras, countermeasure
sensors, telescopes, laser systems and radar antennas. The
systems may be customized to accommodate a variety
of “customer specific” payload weights
and physical configurations. If required, our
tracking mounts/pedestals may be configured with automated
video tracking capability by selecting our “AutoTracking” option
for the Digital Control System(DCS).
