Range Lenses
L-3 Brashears’ SR-Series Catadioptric
objective lenses are available in focal lengths of 50,
100 and 150 inches; our Standard Range Lenses product line.
These lenses when mounted to the KTM are an ideal complement
to the sensor suite, producing high quality imagery for
either high speed film, shuttered video or digital cameras.
During past several decades, L-3 Brashear manufactured
and delivered more than 150 range lenses with focal lengths
of 50, 100, and 150 inches (SR-50, SR-100, and SR-150 respectively).
They have been widely used for training, testing, research,
target detection and tracking at many test ranges and launch
pads. We continue working on improving these products and
plan to offer “Enhanced
Lens Options” including:
1) Hyper Focal Lens (HFL) to improve image quality
2) Broad Band Lens to extend the imaging spectral band
for better target detection and tracking.
The standard lenses may also be configured with accessories such as Barlow Extenders to extend the focal length capabilities
and Focus Control Modules to control and position the focusing
element with the standard range lenses.
