Kineto Integrated Tracking System (KITS)

KITS provides simultaneous monitoring, measurement and evaluation of trajectories for a short range missile and a target. KITS includes three (3) Model 433 KTMs configured to include a variety of sensors; depending upon the user’s application.

i• Three (3) KINETO Tracking Stations, each comprised of a
- - KINETO Model 433 Tracking Mount
- - Thermal Imager
- - Long-Range Zoom Lens
- - High Resolution B/W Camera
- - Digital Control System Computer &
- - Sensor Power Supply Chassis

The typical KITS consists of the following major components:

ii) One (1) Command Post- consisting of electronic consoles and computers

iii) Fiber Optic Link between the KINETO Tracking Stations and the Command Post

iv) One (1) Laser Range Finder: The Laser Range Finder shall measure distance to cooperative, retro-enhanced targets (1 square ft. with a retro-gain of at least 1000) between 1km and 30km in 30km visibility with +/- 2.5m accuracy (1 sigma).
