Distant Object Altitude Measurement System (DOAMS)

The DOAMS units may be installed at a fixed site within a dome or on a mobile trailer. The L-3 Brashear DOAMS provide high resolution imagery (film and/or video) and precision Time-Space-Position Information (TSPI) to range customers.

This system is designed to provide camera documentation of airborne events at two different focal lengths; 2.5 meters and 5 meters. There are more than eleven (11) of these systems built and installed on test ranges throughout the world. The DOAMS systems have been in operation for more than 15 years, providing precise tracking data and high quality images for test validation.
