L-3 Aeromet is seeking exceptional, creative, and qualified candidates to support the AirBorne Sensor (ABS) and Airborne Infrared Surveillance (AIRS) programs. ABS and AIRS are exciting programs that support Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in developing missile defense capabilities. Our support of these programs includes fielding teams to operate aircraft and airborne remote sensor systems (mission support), collecting and reducing data, and developing new remote sensing capabilities. L-3 Aeromet is based in Tulsa, OK and manages the ABS program. L-3 Aeromet currently operates the two High ALtitude Observatories (HALO) - Gulfstream IIB aircraft, and Widebody Airborne Sensor Platform (WASP) – DC10-10 aircraft for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

June 12, 2003 - L-3 Communications Acquires Aeromet, Inc.
L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that on May 30, 2003 it acquired all of the issued and outstanding stock of Aeromet, Inc. The transaction, which is valued at approximately $20 million, is expected to be slightly accretive to L-3 Communications’ earnings. Aeromet had annual sales of $30 million in 2002.
