| Our strengths are in the development and
integration of pointing and tracking systems that cope
with adverse environmental conditions (e.g., airborne
pressurized and un-pressurized environments) and encompass
all parts and assemblies that collect and direct optical
energy, including ultraviolet, visible, and infrared
wavebands. Our core competencies include optical modeling
and analysis, systems integration and testing, calibration,
and data collection. Aeromet's opto-mechanical engineers
have specialized knowledge that we use to optimize optical
system performance to meet mission requirements. These
skills include: knowledge of lightweight materials, thermal
properties of optical components, high precision machining,
active and passive stabilization control systems, optical
coatings, filters, optical baffles and wide-ranging knowledge
and capabilities with large optical windows for aircraft. |
