L-3 Aeromet is a premier developer and integrator
of airborne EO-IR sensors and complex airborne electronic
systems. We design, develop, and integrate custom EO-IR
systems into special mission aircraft. Additionally,
working in collaboration with National Laboratories,
we integrate the next-generation EO-IR sensors, taking
the sensors from laboratory experiment to the flying
laboratory. But, we are more than just a sensor integration
house; we also operate the High Altitude Observatory
(HALO) and Wide-body Airborne
Sensor Platform (WASP) special mission aircraft. This
work includes all phases of mission support to
include:
planning,
logistics, mission execution,
data collection and analysis, and reports.
We are capable of providing cradle-to-grave, or anywhere
in between, sensor and instrumentation design, system
integration, aircraft modification, and airborne mission
support to government customers. We excel in technically
demanding endeavors including Ballistic Missile Defense,
Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Aeronautical
Engineering, and Special Mission Aircraft.
It takes talent and dedication
to get the job done, and the right people really do
make the difference.
We recruit the best scientists, engineers, technicians,
mechanics, pilots, and mission support professionals
in the business, and give them the freedom to do what
they do best. Our team is focused, responsive, results-oriented,
and ready for any challenge.
L-3 Aeromet is an independently
operated location of L-3 Communications Integrated
Systems (L-3 IS),
of
Greenville, Texas. This enables our team of scientists
and engineers to be fully focused to solve your problem
and, when necessary, bring to bear L-3 IS resources
to fully implement, test, and operate the systems
regardless of problem or aircraft size. We have behind
us the
entire resources of L-3 IS and L-3 Communications
Corporation (NYSE: LLL), the nation’s number
one source of sophisticated defense electronics.
