| ACSS & L-3 DISPLAY SYSTEMS ENTER
SUPPLIER AGREEMENT Contact: Steve Henden “The SuperSet family of displays are based on a new, state-of-the-art design using the latest AMLCD technology. The SuperSet 6.4 MFD is a cost effective, high-performance display targeted at air transport, regional and business jet customers, for TAWS, TCAS, CDTI and weather radar applications,” said Bob McGill, president of L-3 Display Systems. ACSS, a supplier of safety avionics equipment to the business, regional, air transport and military aviation markets, has agreed to add the SuperSet displays to their portfolio of products. The first commercial customer of the SuperSet 6.4 is FedEx Express, who selected the displays as a companion to the ACSS T2CAS? terrain and traffic collision avoidance system. FedEx will use T2CAS and the SuperSet displays on their fleet of F-27s. “We’re excited to add the SuperSet displays to our suite of avionic products for commercial operators,” said Joe Hoffman, president of ACSS. “This display joins our growing suite of aviation safety products, which includes our T2CAS?, TCAS 2000 and Mode S available through our global dealer network.” The SuperSet 6.4 MFD meets a wide range of cockpit traffic, terrain, and radar display requirements. High resolution coupled with outstanding optical performance, provides unsurpassed performance under extreme sunlight, nighttime, or off-angle viewing to meet the demanding requirements of today's cockpit environments. The design flexibility of the SuperSet 6.4 MFD assures avionics customers of future growth via software options.
