"The educational system and their students are an often overlooked when businesses make charitable gifts and donations," said Joe Hoffman, president of ACSS. "ACSS wants to make sure these schools have a few extra dollars as the new school year begins. ACSS has established itself as a solid, successful business in North Phoenix and we want to share some of that success with these schools and their students."

ACSS will continue their community outreach by getting more involved with activities that focus on helping Valley youths stay on track through positive programs that build self-esteem and provide caring adult role models. "We are excited to welcome ACSS to our community and are proud they have chosen to support public education," said Dr. Bill Hill, superintendent of the Deer Valley Unified School District. "As educators, we strive to reach out to the business community and build partnerships that benefit students. Support from all aspects of the business community provide tremendous opportunities as we work to prepare our students for the future."

According to Roger S. Freeman, principal of Echo Mountain Elementary School, the partnerships that the business community establishes with schools can make a huge difference to students and teachers. "Just a little extra can go a long way, but ACSS has been most generous. This donation will allow us to implement programs throughout the school that would not otherwise be possible. Our mission at Echo Mountain is to inspire every student to think, to learn, to achieve, and to care. To this end, the funds will be used for program development expenses and participation incentives for our students and staff."
