Ganase Brings Experience and Leadership to the Helm of L-3/Thales Joint Venture

PHOENIX, June 7, 2004 – ACSS, an L-3 Communications & Thales Company, announced today that Kris Ganase has been named president of ACSS, effective immediately. Ganase brings years of aviation experience to his new position that will lead the L-3 Communications and Thales joint venture company into the future.

“I’m very excited about the opportunity to lead this business,” said Ganase, who had previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at ACSS. “ACSS has enjoyed solid growth since our inception four years ago, and we now look to the future and continuing to build on our portfolio of avionics solutions for the aviation industry.”

Prior to joining ACSS in February 2001, Ganase held the position of Vice President of Operations for Thales Avionics Canada from 1996 to 2000. He also served as Vice President of Customer Services for Thales Avionics from 1994 to 1996. Ganase holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Air Transport Engineering from London City University, England. Due to U.S. government regulations, ACSS operations dealing with classified programs will have a separate reporting structure that will be announced at a later date.
