Electron Devices offers a comprehensive line of linac devices that includes high performance klystrons, e-guns, thyratrons and magnetrons that have many applications in the linac industry including linear accelerators, lasers for surgery and cancer treatment, and radiology x-ray equipment.
These products are in constant production and are available for quick delivery. EDD has also established a comprehensive extended life program on all tube types to evaluate the long-term reliability of its products.
KLYSTRONS
Our
medical klystrons are form, fit and function compatible with
most Varian Clinac Klystrons. Frequencies range from
2.856 to 2.990 GHz, peak power output levels up to 6 megawatts,
and gains of up to 50 dB.
Focusing is controlled by electromagnet, cooling
is achieved through liquid, and tuning is preset to customer's
desired frequency.
We offer either new or rebuilt klystrons.
