At L-3 Communications, Electron Devices the backbone of our technology is the vacuum electron device. In such amplifiers or oscillators, output power is produced by the interaction of an electron beam with a microwave or millimeter wave structure. Their development typically requires innovative solutions to electronic, thermal, mechanical, chemical, metallurgical, and vacuum technology problems. We also design and manufacture high performance power conditioners (which drive these devices), and fully integrated microwave power modules.

Payday: Paychecks are provided every week. As an employee of Electron Devices your paycheck can be automatically deposited to the financial institution of your choice. You also have the option of joining Premier America Federal credit union or in Williamsport, PALCO credit union, where you can take advantage of all that credit unions have to offer.

Holidays: Employees receive 10 fully paid holidays per year: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday after, and Christmas Day and three other floating days.

Vacation: Employees accumulate vacation days each pay period according to length of service. New employees will accumulate 2.05 hrs per week. Twice each year the facilities close for scheduled maintenance: once in the summer and once during the week between Christmas and New Years.

Employee Recreation: Our recreation committee members are always busy planning the next event. There are dinner dances, picnics and trips, near and far. There are on site activities year round: Summer BBQ, Halloween Costume party, Christmas Sing-A-Longs and parties, Ski vacations, and ballgames. Come and join in the fun and the planning!
