S/TAR™Data Storage & Network Centric Servers - Communication Systems - East is the world's leading supplier of high performance, rugged data storage solutions. Our S/TAR™ (Strategic / Tactical Airborne Recorder) product line includes mission recorders, network storage systems, airborne and ground file server systems, embedded storage and ground exploitation systems. We provide both OTS (Off-The-Shelf) products and customized solutions for our customers. S/TAR™ systems are currently used world-wide with both US and international customers on platforms such as the F-16, F-15, RF-4, P-3C, P-8A MMA, CASA 212, JAS 39 Gripen, RC-26B, F-18C, F-18E/F, US Aircraft Carriers and Command Ships, B-52H and Ground Stations. Multi-Function SIGINT System - L-3 Communication Systems - East has a rich heritage of over 50 years in the design, development, production and support of both Tactical and Strategic Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Systems. Our Tactical Experience includes systems and technology for airborne manned and unmanned aircraft as well mounted and dismounted ground based applications. Our payloads support the following mission functions:
- Communications Electronic Support Measures (ESM) & Non Communication ESM
- Search, Identify, Geo-Locate, Map & Report
Our Data-At-Rest (DAR) products and technology include both stand-alone and embedded solutions. We offer system level solutions, such as DAR for the Joint Strike Fighter to embedded DAR for our S/TAR™ products.
