FRAGMENTATION HAND GRENADE
L-3 Fuzing & Ordnance Systems is the Systems Manager of the M67 Fragmentation Grenade Program. Supported by a carefully selected subcontract team, L-3 Fuzing & Ordnance Systems is the sole U.S. producer of the M67.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The M67 Fragmentation Grenade is designed to be effective within a range of 15 meters by the high velocity projection of fragments. The body of the M67 hand grenade is a 2.5-inch diameter steel sphere containing 5.6 ounces of high explosive, designed to burst into numerous fragments when detonated.
Each grenade is fitted with a pull pin and safety clip to secure the lever. Release of the lever initiates a 4-5.5 second delay fuze that activates an explosive charge with a 5 meter kill radius. |
