CARTRIDGES FOR BRIGADE COMBAT TEAM (BCT)
The 105mm M393A3 cartridge is a wall-breaching, high explosive projectile with a mechanical fuze.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The 105mm M467A1 is a range-limited ballistic match for the M393A3 and used for training. L-3 Fuzing & Ordnance Systems (L-3 FOS) developed the M578A1 fuze to conform to MIL-STD-1316 requirements. The production of the M393A3 and M467A1 projectiles and production of the fuze were managed by L-3 FOS. The M393A3 cartridge provides U.S. forces with wall-breaching capability for the Stryker MGS 105mm gun system. |
